The Cypress House is a comfortable place where I am inspired by beautiful things. Krista's good taste and talent for selecting and creatively displaying merchandise make this my favorite place to visit. It is important to me to shop in Rochelle whenever I can, and it is a real pleasure to have the Cypress House as an option. I know I can always find a great gift there, I love the clothes and accessories, the flowers and arrangements are always unique and beautiful and the customer service is the best. Krista is a great marketer, always has something new going on and the store has new merchandise and a new look every time I am there. More importantly, Krista gives back to the community in many ways. The Cypress House recently held a fund raiser to benefit the Rochelle Area Community Foundation, in turn benefiting many local organizations. I'm really thankful for the Cypress House, Krista, her family and her staff and I hope they continue to be supported by the Rochelle Community for many years to come.
One of the things I look forward to when I work out of my Rochelle office is visiting The Cypress House! There is always something fresh and new, with great gifts and fresh flowers. If I need an afternoon lift I stop in for tea and always leave with more than that. The service is always friendly and the atmosphere makes me want to be more creative! One of my favorite places!
I am writing to tell you how much I loved your service!!! I called around 10am to order a bouquet for my mom's birthday and within 30 minutes she had received the flowers and called to thank me. I live in Hoffman Estates, but am from Ashton and I truly miss the "country" service! Thank you again.
Exquisite design, experience and excellence - Krista Stewart and The Cypress House team are truly amazing! We had a fantastic experience from start to finish with The Cypress House as we designed our wedding flowers last fall. Krista quickly understood our wedding style, anticipated our preferences, and the end result was exactly what we had envisioned for our special day! My bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres, the centerpieces and tablescape design were absolutely stunning!! Everything was gorgeous beyond our expectations and we are STILL hearing from guests how beautiful our flowers were! Thank you, again, Krista and The Cypress House Team! Our day truly would not have been such a success without your creativity, passion and hard work!! I have known the owner, Krista Stewart, for many years. She and the staff at The Cypress House are friendly, eager to please and happy to help in any way. There are so many great things that I can say but here are a few: Krista has come to my house to help me decorate for a holiday party...she filled my urns outside with fresh pine branches, she decorated my staircase for me, filled vases throughout my home with fresh pine, snow and cranberries, made a beautiful centerpiece arrangement and helped with my christmas tree that was old and worn out and needed updating. Krista's magical touch made my tree look like something out of a magazine. On the night of my party, I received so many compliments on my house, mostly everything Krista had done! The Cypress House has also done all the flowers for my children's high school dance events. Each boutonniere and each corsage/bouquet is stunning! The colors are just perfect with the outfits, the flowers are fresh and crisp and the design is A+++++!!! I always look forward to shopping at The Cypress House...whether its for a cup of coffee, a new candle, something in the floral department or just neat home decor, I know I can always find what I'm looking for!
Krista Stewart was the first business contact that I had when I started at Del Monte Foods in the latesummer of 2008 as the Human Resource Manager. I had never worked in Rochelle before, so I had only a few business relationships in the area. The first time that I met her, I literally felt a warm welcome and hug. Everything that Krista and her team at The Cypress House have done for our business has been customized after a short brainstorming session either in person, by email or by phone. They have redesigned an old and tired grape vine wreath and personalized it by intertwining it with an antique Del Monte vegetable can. The beautiful floral urn by the front door is totally maintained by The Cypress House and changed for each season. The specialized gifts and floral arrangements sent to thank our administrative staff, or for our ill and/or departed employees or their family members are easily identified as coming from Del Monte Foods. On a personal note,I have had just lovely experiences when visiting the store; last Christmas their open house, which included samplings of their food offerings was awesome! I purchased several of the unique gifts for friends, family and myself! On a final note, they just make me smile!!! I can't ask for more than that!
My wedding flowers were fantastic. I was on a smaller budget, but you would NEVER have known. Krista and her staff were able to create fantastic bouquets, using all of my requests, including feathers and bling. The colors were fantastic. I loved that the bouquets came in personalized Ball jars. I truly could not have been more pleased with the final product. PLUS the customer service was wonderful. I would definitely recommend Cypress House to other brides and return for any flower needs in the future.
The Cypress House is one of my favorite places to visit. Every time I stop in I find new items that are fun and elegant. My son loves to smell all the candles. Krista and the staff are always helpful and excited to see me. Krista is also very generous, donating beautiful items for fundraisers, loaning amazing silk bouquets for a church event, and filling helium balloons for rally for hunger issues. The Cypress House is one of Rochelle's treasures.
The drinks are amazing, cute jewelry, I like the candles, they smell really good! Purses and everything...and all the decorations are great.
Last Fall, I approached Krista, the ower of Cypress House, to help decorate our sanctuary at Ashton Bible Church for Christmas. Before she provided us with her suggestions, an initial visit was made to our church and Krista was able to coordinate what we already had for decorations into her plan. She was extremely punctual in providing sketches, ribbon samples and other recommendations that fit within our budget. Not only does Krista and her staff desire to please the customer, she is exceptionally congenial to work with. Our sanctuary was transformed by her professional expertise in keeping with the true spirit of Christmas.
Cypress House is top on my list of favorite places to visit in Rochelle. Krista's sincere attention to her customers is excellent! My girls and I are always up for Krista's drinks; the Austin special, raspberry chai, and regular chai are our favorites. My frequent buyer card fills up fast! As for gift buying, no matter what the occasion is be it a birthday, anniversary, or just because...I always find just the perfect gift for both family and friends. A visit to Cypress House like a treasure hunt. There's always something new to be found! Visit often and see for yourself!
Eric and I have worked with a lof of florists throughout the course of running ae photography. We have always made it a point to select one vendor of each type that stands out above the rest. We only want to send our clients to the best local options, and we really feel The Cypress House provides that. We love how Krista stays up to date with the latest trends, not only when it comes to her fantastic boutique and coffee shop, but in the actual style of her bouquets and arrangements. They are very modern and lovely--just what our type of brides are looking for. We have worked with her firsthand, as she has put together some great bouquets for us to decorate our vendor booths at bridal shows. They were just what we wanted, and we received tons of compliments from brides! Overall, we love The Cypress House and the fact that there is nothing else like it Rochelle. When my fiance first said we should look in Rochelle for our wedding flowers, I have to admit I was a bit skeptical. I am not originally from Rochelle and had only lived here for 2 years at the point when we were ready to start wedding planning. However, Rochelle had become my home and I was agreeable to look at flower shops in the area and support the local economy. When I walked into the Cypress house I immediately got a really good feeling about the place. The inventory was creative and unique and Krista greeted us like we had been friends for years. Upon our initial consultation a week later I knew that this was the place to order our flowers from. Krista really seemed to understand my vision for our wedding and was extremely helpful in picking out the right flower that would last throughout the day and would fit the wedding best. In terms of the flowers my only condition was that they be all white and each bridesmaid/groomsman would have a different white flower than the person they were standing next to. I wanted Krista and her staff be creative in putting the flowers together and to make them really unique and creative! Krista and her staff came through beautifully! I couldn't have been happier with the job she did with our wedding flowers, each bouquet was hand-tied each with a unique ribbon and a beautiful broach. The flowers were extremely hardy, most of my bridesmaids and the mothers said their bouquets lasted at least a week or more after the wedding. I can't express how much it meant to me to have the flower part of our wedding be so much fun to plan and what a joy it was to work with such creative and nice people at the Cypress House. Every time I go in the store Krista is there and knows me by name, and to someone who is new to the area that makes me immediately feel like a part of the community. I highly recommend Cypress House to anyone who is looking for beautiful flowers for their special occasion.
I want to thank you for putting together the bouquets and other flowers for the wedding. You captured exactly what I wanted. I actually think they turned out better than I had expected! You made the whole process very easy (and that's so appreciated when planning an event like a wedding! There's not many things that are easy!) I can't say enough about how great you were to work with. Thank you again for everything!
Looking forward to another fall with my arrangements by Carol. I get so many compliments on all my silk decor from Cypress House. Whenever I need that something special for myself, friend or relative, I know I can always find it from Krista at Cypress House. What would I do with out them?
